While I was walking back from the market today after a long morning stroll, a rickety old motorcycle (which I will henceforth refer to as a pikipiki in my blog, because I like to say it that way) passed by and I caught a good whiff of exhaust fumes. Strangely, it smelled like a golf cart, and I was immediately longing for rolling fairways and manicured greens. I suppose it doesn't help that I've been watching Caddyshack and Happy Gilmore non-stop this past week. nnnnnnnNOONAN!
Mom and Dad, make sure you put in some tee times at St. James for me the next time I come home, whenever that may be.
Hi Dave!
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking about you a lot lately. I was going to a symposium where I was going to do a talk, a 15 min presentation on my research. On the way over I listed to Sonata Arctica and I was thinking about you throwing your hat across the room and flipping over chairs.
Great to hear from Pete on your blog. I hope he can find time and resource to pay you a visit. I have also spent the last few minutes looking at the wonderful words of encouragement you have received even from people you do not know. Know that those of us in your "other world" love you, miss you and are being blessed from every small act of love and faith that you express. LPJ D
